“Black in the 80s” was a three part VH1 series exploring and celebrating the achievements and advancements African-Americans made in pop culture during the 1980’s. From historical breakthroughs in film and television, to the birth of a new genre of music. GRAPHIC HAVOC created the logotype for the series and Art Directed, Designed, Illustrated, and Animated all of the graphics for the series including the opening sequence, bumpers, transitions, and lower thirds. Photography was supplied to GRAPHIC HAVOC by VH1, Executive Producers: Michael Hirschorn, Shelly Tatro & Meredith Ross.
